Vacation is sooo much work! @ 3:19 p.m. on December 14, 2004

ok so today hasnt been thaaat bad. i left work early today, because i was just too tired, and i over booked people as it turns out, so i just left. ive had to do all this extra work just to take vacation! Which actually amounts to like, 5 hours of extra work for myself. i had to make a list for every day im gone (8 days)times two (evening shifts/daytime shifts), reprint theier notes and give to craig, type out a list of basic stuff that i do every day (6 days worth of my work), and make sure that gets assigned, and that people were trained propperly (that has taken about 30 hours worth of work over the previous month), make a list of stuff that has to be done each day for the cashiers and the supervisors to be done on the front end... break that down to evening and daytime.... assign emily as my back up, so my mini sam.... i have to email my specialist, talk to all of the dept heads and let them know what has to be done each day/night, and what to look for, and what lists to go off of... INSANE! i spent about 3 hous this morning working on the notes for the girls, and then half an hour with Emily going over everything, and giving her intructions whe problems happend, etc. odds are pretty much that shell be calling me. i said they could call if they neeeeeeeeeeeed to, but just dont be thinking my ass will be working a shift. AH no! this is vacation time, and normally u dont even get ahold of the person on vacation! I cant wait till 2005, im gonna go somewhere nice... dont knwo when or with who, but i want a real vacation then.

as it turns out my dispute with this ebay seller has been resolved. i only recieved one of the items from him, meanwhile he was telling me i only paid for one. Why would i pay double for one item? thats just retarted. so anyways, paypall did their investigation, and sided in my favour, and he was wrong. So not only am i getting money back, im getting a full credit! Plus the item i had already recieved. So im basically getting it for free.... i think thats how itworks. he was supposed to send me series two and three of some war series my dad ordered, i paid for both, and only recieved one series a month later. SO now i have the series two, and all of my money back. which was 105. GBP, which is about $250 canadian. YYYEEAH, i was not going to eat the $125 charge for one of the series. i dont think so. this has been ongoing since the middle of october! I was so afraid when i got the email today they were gonna say sorry, ms starrett, we have sided against u. but they were with me! WOOO....

anythign else new... hmm... well ill be missing americas next top model again! its the season finale. so i will have to tape it. i have to close tomorrow night, which sucks cause its a night shift, but its ok cause i can sleep in tomorrow. pick ur poison right? so its not that bad.,...... then im off for a week and a day! i cant wait!

so that leaves the countdown (With the current time set at 3:48 pm) at 1 day, 6 hours and 42 minutes until i dont have to worry about that store again! WOOO....well for a week and a day anyways...

and im not done my xmas shopping! Damnit! i still have to do a little.... which sucks, but hey... oh well....

ok well unfortunately i have nothing to report on the juice....lol... yeah so nothing else interesting to say realkly, so ill end it here!
